The IUPUI Arts and Humanities Institute will be delivering their second Public Art + Ethics Seminar for 2020 online. This event will be an online event so you must register with the link provided in order to participate in the zoom video chat.

Kelli Morgan, the associate curator for American Art at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields will be the guest speaker and will introduce several big ethical questions as a way to think about contemporary public art.

The Art+Ethics Seminar is organized by IUPUI Professors Jason M. Kelly, Pamela Napier, and Laura Holzman.

The Art + Ethics Seminar Series is supported by by the Indiana University Consortium for the Study of Religion, Ethics, and Society, the IUPUI Arts and Humanities Institute, and the Herron School of Art and Design

The IAHI Art+Ethics Seminar Series examines the role of art in contemporary life. Free and open to the public, the seminar discusses the intersection between ethical theory and artistic practice. Seminar meetings discuss the intersections of ethics, public art, and urban design through shared readings, guest speakers, and conversation.
